I unfortunately could not make the trip up to UConn today, but I will indeed be live blogging. I’ll get to finally see a live TV version - and if I see just half of what what all of you write me about, there’ll be plenty to talk about! DJ Spanky has promised to help me keep the conversation going too. So if you’re home like I am, swing back in an hour or so and let’s watch this thing together.
Aditi Kinkhabwala has written a regular column for SI.com and been published in Sports Illustrated.
Okay, I’ll be online soon.
Alright, let’s go RU!!!
Rutgers R-U chant coming through pretty clearly on tv. Nice job by those there.
That ax has got to go.
Yea it may seem cheesy now, some may like it but you know traditions have to start somewhere I suppose. It does seem a little manufactured but maybe in time the program will grow into it.
The thing is is that we’re looking like we’re usurping someone else’s tradition, like the Florida State Seminoles.
I think it may have been better if we started it in 2007 with the whole “chop” mantra of 2006 still fresh in the minds of people. That thing has become a little old and forgotten to some degree so the ax thing loses some luster for that reason too.
Nice job Devin great way to start the game.
WOOHOO!!!!!!
Again great job of the fans too R-U coming through loud and clear again. Woohooo!!!
Sorry didn’t see your woohoo there, didn’t intentionally copy. :-P
Oh man you gotta be kidding. Again we have to learn when we gain the momentum to keep the foot on the pedal, can’t let up and just give it right back especially on the next play. Killer instinct guys!!
Just noticed Aditi started open post for the game in another post on the blog.
Hey guys, thanks for coming on… you really warm a girl’s heart! I started a new game post, though, so swing on over there. Thanks!
OKAY, ADITI HAS ANOTHER OPEN BLOG FOR THIS, SO I’M GOING TO THAT ONE.
