Damaso Munoz is being a mite kinder on the question of style (more on that later), but still, by Monday, the scolding had become so unrelenting, Beauharnais threw up his hands and said, “Okay, next time I score, I’ll make it look a little a little better.”
Because, yes, there will be a next time.
