Rutgers sophomore running back Jourdan Brooks got his legs tangled with linebacker Marvin Booker during practice No. 7 of the spring yesterday and injured his lower right leg.
Brooks remained down for approximately five minutes before standing up and limping around with assistance. The extent of his injury is not yet known, but head coach Greg Schiano said that he will be evaluated later and that he is concerned.
As a redhsirt freshman last season, Brooks ran for 516 yards in 11 games and led all RU running backs with six rushing touchdowns.

University of Louisville basketball fans will get a chance to check out future Cardinal Peyton Siva tonight in the 2009 McDonald’s All-American game. The game, televised nationally on ESPN at 8:00 p.m. ET, gives college basketball fans across the country a glimpse of the top players in the country.
Siva, a 6-foot tall 180 pound point guard out of Seattle, led his Franklin team to the 3-A Washington state championship and averaged over 18 points and five assists a game. He comes to Louisville rated as the No. 4 point guard and the No.23 rated overall prospect in the ESPNU Top 100.
Siva showed off his tremendous leaping ability in the Powerade Jam Fest Monday night after catching the ball off the shot clock and finishing with an impressive reverse slam. Siva received a perfect score from the judges on his first jam of the competition.
