The No. 3 ranked Louisville Cardinals and Western Kentucky are tied at 28 going into halftime. The Cardinal offense has looked rusty throughout the first half, while WKU has risen to the challenge. Down 28-25, WKU guard A. J. Slaughter hit a long three pointer as time expired to tie the game to end the first half. The shot came after Louisville took a shot much earlier than coach Rick Pitino would have liked, which led to a fast break wide open shot for Slaughter.
