Ugly half, but USF leads

USF and Northeastern accounted for 12 turnovers and shot a combined 12-of-48 from the field in the first half. If not for an 11-0 run, the Bulls and Huskies game had a good chance of being outscored by the men’s soccer game. USF led 22-11 at the half, and lead 28-13 with 16 minutes left in the game.

Sophomore guard Dominique Jones leads all scorers with 12 points.

The women’s basketball team went 2-1 on it’s trip to the Virgin Islands for the Paradise Jam. After losing by 30 to No. 3 Cal Wednesday, the Bulls picked up wins against Iowa (3-1) at the time and Texas Tech (who handed Iowa its third loss of the season. 

Finally, the men’s soccer team is locked in a scoreless tie with UNC-Greensboro over at the USF soccer stadium, where the crowd is likely twice the size of the one inhabiting the USF Sun Dome.
